API Version Support
The integration works with your store's Shopify Admin API, using both the REST Admin API and the GraphQL Admin API. The Admin API version is set per connection in your subscription's API Version setting; the default preset is 2026-01, and the integration has been verified against the current Shopify Admin API version 2026-07.
Some capabilities require a more recent Admin API version — for example, reactivating a deactivated location uses a GraphQL feature available in 2026-04 and later. If your workflows rely on those capabilities, set the connection to the required version and validate in a staging environment first. Product transfers carry their variants, options, and images; orders carry their line items, addresses, taxes, and payments. B2B selling (companies, company contacts, and Shopify Plus order and gift-card flows) is supported for stores on Shopify Plus.

The inventory-update path was also aligned with Shopify Admin API 2026-04, which requires idempotency keys and supports incremental quantity changes.

Version 1.10 — Newer API support, returns, locations, billing, and expanded fields
Order returns: synchronize order returns — send returns from iPaaS.com to Shopify, and capture returns created in Shopify.
Support for newer Shopify Admin API versions: verified against the current Shopify Admin API version 2026-07 (with 2026-01 as the default preset), unlocking newer Shopify capabilities such as location reactivation and idempotent inventory updates on Admin API 2026-04 and later.
Location synchronization from iPaaS.com: create and update Shopify locations from iPaaS.com, including location metafields and custom fields.
In-app subscription billing: when you install the iPaaS.com app from the Shopify App Store, you subscribe to and manage the app's own plan — initial signup, plan changes, and cancellation — through Shopify's managed pricing. This is billing for the iPaaS.com app itself, not a data flow the integration synchronizes.
Order custom fields: map custom fields on orders sent to iPaaS.com.
Expanded metafield support: handles Shopify's limit of 25 metafields per request so larger metafield sets transfer correctly.
B2B company custom fields: additional company custom fields on customers.
Product categories: synchronize Shopify collections and category assignments, in both directions (from Shopify and to Shopify).

Shopify GraphQL Admin API migration: product, variant, and related transfers modernized onto Shopify's GraphQL Admin API.

Version 1.8 and earlier — Core Shopify and Shopify Plus integration
Established the core synchronization between iPaaS.com and Shopify. Each of these carries its full detail:
Products and variants: create, update, and delete products with their variants, options, option values, and images (also captured from Shopify).
Orders: orders with their line items, billing and shipping addresses, tax lines, and payments (also written to Shopify).
Customers: customers and customer addresses, plus customer tags inbound from Shopify (also captured from Shopify).
Inventory: product and variant inventory levels, tracked against Shopify locations, including standalone inventory updates.
Order fulfillment and tracking: send fulfillment and tracking details to Shopify (for example, tracking numbers originating from a fulfillment system).
Locations: read Shopify locations into iPaaS.com.
Gift cards: synchronize gift cards on Shopify Plus (also captured from Shopify).
Shopify App Store listing: iPaaS.com is available as an app in the Shopify App Store.
