Introduction to ShipBob
ShipBob is a tech-enabled third-party logistics (3PL) provider that combines fulfillment services with a warehouse management platform, handling storage, pick and pack, shipping, and returns for eCommerce brands.
Used by DTC and eCommerce brands that want to outsource fulfillment without losing visibility into inventory and order status
Popular with growing brands that need a scalable fulfillment network across multiple warehouse locations
Connecting ShipBob to iPaaS.com enables order, inventory, and fulfillment data to flow automatically with your Ecommerce and ERP systems, keeping stock levels and order status accurate without manual reconciliation
API Version Support
The integration calls the ShipBob Developer API at marketplaceapi.shipbob.com, version 2026-01. The connection is configured with your ShipBob credentials, and the integration was last tested end-to-end against the ShipBob sandbox on 2026-07-06. See the ShipBob Connections and Settings and ShipBob API Endpoints articles for details.
Data Flows
The table below summarizes the data the integration can move between iPaaS.com and ShipBob, and in which direction. Arrows show the direction of transfer:
→ iPaaS.com writes the data to ShipBob
← iPaaS.com reads the data from ShipBob
↔ the data can move in both directions
Allow Initialization? indicates whether that data can be bulk-loaded from ShipBob when a subscription first connects. Whether a given flow is enabled, and in which direction, is configured per subscription during implementation.
iPaaS.com | Direction | ShipBob | Allow Initialization? |
Order | → | Order | |
Order Tracking Number | ← | Shipment
Product | ← | Product | ✔️ |
Product Inventory | ← | Inventory
Location | ← | Location | ✔️ |
Shipping Method | ← | Shipping Method | ✔️ |
Orders are written to ShipBob for fulfillment with their line items and addresses, and their shipment tracking numbers are captured back into iPaaS.com. Products, locations, and shipping methods are captured from ShipBob as reference data.
