A Category Set is a named container for a category tree - effectively a catalog. "Website Navigation" and "POS Categories" are each a Category Set, and each holds the Product Categories that belong to it. Other systems call it a Catalog, Category Tree, or Taxonomy.

Category Sets are how iPaaS.com supports several parallel merchandising structures over one product catalog. The relationship is many-to-many: a category can belong to more than one set, so channels can share category definitions or keep separate trees. In a multi-channel integration, each source system's tree maps to its own Category Set; a single-channel integration usually needs just one.
