A Transaction Payment is a payment or tender applied to an order - a method, amount, and status. Other systems call it a Tender, Payment Line, or Tender Line.

One order can carry several payments, which is how iPaaS.com represents split tender (part card, part gift card, part cash). It records how an order was paid so downstream accounting and accounts-receivable can reconcile. The model deliberately keeps processor-specific detail (auth codes, last four digits, gateway IDs) out of its core fields, holding them in a freeform detail area or in custom fields so the standard payment shape stays consistent across systems.

Note that the payment method needs to exist in iPaaS.com in order for it to be used on a transaction payment.
