iPaaS.com <> Salesforce: Background

Learn about the Salesforce integration and what it supports.

Introduction to Salesforce

Salesforce is the world's leading CRM platform, bringing together sales, service, marketing, and commerce capabilities in an AI-powered suite used by businesses of all sizes.

  • Used across industries by sales, service, and marketing teams managing large customer bases and complex pipelines

  • Common in mid-market to enterprise organizations that need a customizable, extensible CRM at the center of their customer operations

  • Connecting Salesforce to iPaaS.com keeps customer and other data synchronized between your CRM and ERP, Ecommerce, and additional systems in your tech stack, ensuring your sales team is always working from accurate, real-time information

API Version Support

The integration uses the Salesforce REST API version 64.0. Account and Contact records, including their addresses, are read, created, and updated through the standard sObject resources in your own Salesforce org, and authentication is handled through Salesforce OAuth 2.0. The integration does not delete Salesforce records. See the Salesforce Connections and Settings and Salesforce API Endpoints articles for details.

Data Flows

The table below summarizes the data the integration can move between iPaaS.com and Salesforce, and in which direction. Arrows show the direction of transfer:

  • iPaaS.com writes the data to Salesforce

  • iPaaS.com reads the data from Salesforce

  • the data can move in both directions

Allow Initialization? indicates whether that data can be bulk-loaded from Salesforce when a subscription first connects. Whether a given flow is enabled, and in which direction, is configured per subscription during implementation.
